

Catherine of Aragon
The first of Henry's wives, Catherine of Aragon. Blackwork given in both backstitch and running stitch. Queen Stitch (two methods). Beads -Magnifica.
Splendor and Silk N/Colors are used for this piece. A very impressive piece
to use as a stitchers roll, etc.

Anne Boleyn
#38 waterlily jobelin is used along with Thread Gatherers Silk N' Colors and Rainbow Gallery's Splendor are used in this stitchers roll. Finishing instructions are given in chart pack. Will be released in July 2002.

Anne of Cleves
The first in a series of rolls inspired by the chimneys at Hampton Court and named after Henry the VIII's wives who resided there for a time. The roll is done on 28 count Brittany cloth using many different stitches such as Smyrma Cross, Cashmere, Elongated tied Cross, Cross Stitch, and tied Gobelin. Waterlilies, Elegance, Splendor, #4 Kreinik braid and Blending Filament are used. An excellent piece for your new counted thread stitchers as it gives them a taste of stitches other than cross stitch. Directions for finishing are included. Fill with potpourri or whatever.

Jane Seymour
The second in the Hampton Court Chimney series. This stitchers roll is done entirely in silk on #28 Jobelin Forget Me Knot Blue, blue #24 count congress cloth could be used. The stitches used are Smyrna Cross, Elongated, Cross Stitch, Cross plus Two and Cashmere. Threads used are Splendor, Elegance, Waterlilies, Silk and Colors and Kreinik #4 braid. Finishing instructions included in chart pack.

Catherine Parr
This third stitchers roll is done on 28 count confederate gray. The actual chimney does not have the fancy stitches between. This stitchers roll uses some Petite Mill Hill beads, some are in the Queen stitch. Splendor and Waterlilies were used in the original design. Finishing instructions are included in the chart pack.

Katherine Howard
The fourth in the series of stitcher's rolls of Henry the 8th. Katherine Howard is stitched on #28 Quaker color lavendar. This roll uses Waterlilies, Soie Cristale and Mill Petite Seed Beads. You can fill this stitchers roll with Potpourri or fiberfill and use it as a pin cushion. Finishing instructions are included in the chart pack.
