Log Cabin
This is basically a beginners pillow and great for a beginners class as it comes two different ways.
#1 Chart Only
#2 Chart plus outlined canvas
This piece is stitched on #14 mono canvas. 10 different stitches are used in this piece. I have used Silk & Ivory, Ribbon Floss, and Splendor. However, you could use whatever threads you find where you shop. Two color ways are given in the chart pack. The initial chart is included in the chart pack. Stitches learned, Continental, Basketweave, Cross Stitch, Rice, Slanted Gobelin, Interlocking Cross Stitch, Straight Cross, Half Scotch Stitch and Smyrna Cross.

Catherine of Aragon
The first of Henry's wives, Catherine of Aragon. Blackwork given in both backstitch and running stitch. Queen Stitch (two methods). Beads -Magnifica.
Splendor and Silk N/Colors are used for this piece. A very impressive piece
to use as a stitchers roll, etc.

Anne's Queen Pillow
This delightful pillow is an adaption of a design found on an English sampler circa 1715. The original piece and the model are stitched all in silk. The model was stitched on white congress cloth using continental, satin and Queen stitches. This design makes an elegant piece for either a living room or boudoir. Silk and floss colors are given on the chart.

Diamonds Are A Girls Best Friend
What lady doesn't want diamonds? This piece has 9 large diamonds and 20 smaller pear shaped diamonds in combination with a darning pattern. Bargello at its best. Challenging yet satisfying. This Bargello piece has mitered corners in all of the large diamonds. Stitched on #18 mono canvas using Bravo, Matte 18, Splendor, Rainbow Linen, Pebbly Perle, Patina and Flair. All threads from Rainbow Gallery. Four color combinations are given on the chart.

Lily Langtry
This counted design, done on 28 count Jobelin, uses Rainbow Gallery Splendor and Elegance, Kreinik and Mill Hill beads. It is done on a Victorian Crazy quilt format with 8 different bands. The piece is designed to fit the Sudbury House vertical spool pin cushion as the design size is 5" x 11". It could be used as a tray insert or bolster pillow insert.

The Six Wives of Henry VIII
Here are all the ladies of Henry VIII. They rested their heads on Henry, thus the Bolster. #28 count Desert Sand (Wichelt) was used for this piece. I backed it with a lovely silk. Since the ladies were elegant they were all stitched in silk. Waterlilies, Elegance, Gumnuts-Star, Splendor, Subtlety, and Silk N Colors were all used along with the Kreinik Fine Braid and Petite Treasu Braid. The beads used were Mill Hill Petite Beads and Magnificia.

Victorian Ribbons
This piece, containing blackwork, bargello, and beads, is a series of 8 interconnecting ribbons. It is stitched on French blue #18 mono canvas using primarily Splendor, Grandeur and Watercolours. The original was made into a bolster pillow. Two color ways are given on chart.
