Mystic
An Art Deco design taken from a stained glass window found in Mystic, Ct. This piece incorporates Seed Beads, Bugle Beads along with floss, perle cotton , sampler threads and silk into this design. I framed it but you could do it as a pillow insert or put it on a tote bag. Only 1 color way is given on the charted pattern, but it would be easy to change colors.

Spring Garden
This design is part of our seasonal series done on #18 mono Buttercream mono canvas. It is designed to look like a spring garden in bloom using 5 Thread Gather silkN colors, 3 Impressions, Soie Crystal, Elegance, Neon Rays, Splendor, Perle 5 & Perle 8. Mill Hill beads accent the piece. A variation of Jean Hilton's Triangle Jessica is used with crescent stitches and regular Jessica's. A great piece to stitch.

This is basically a beginners pillow and great for a beginners class as it comes two different ways.

#2 Chart plus outlined canvas
This piece is stitched on #14 mono canvas. 10 different stitches are used in this piece. I have used Silk & Ivory, Ribbon Floss, and Splendor. However, you could use whatever threads you find where you shop. Two color ways are given in the chart pack. The initial chart is included in the chart pack. Stitches learned, Continental, Basketweave, Cross Stitch, Rice, Slanted Gobelin, Interlocking Cross Stitch, Straight Cross, Half Scotch Stitch and Smyrna Cross.

Carnaval
A series of three small boxes using Overdyed Floss, Splendor, Treasure
Braid # 12 an Magnificia beads. All three are stitched on
# 18 Buttercream canvas. Finishing instructions included in chart
pack. These designs could use any overdyed floss, splendor
Treasure Braid # 12 and Magnificia beads plus canvas depending upon the
color of Overdyed Floss. Any color floss, i.e. Splendor, Treasure Braid, Magnificia beads could be used. Also any color canvas. You be creative!

Tudor Rose
This is Tudor Rose taken from the rose that was Henry's VIII rose.
The inside petals are always white, and the outside
petals are red. The center of the rose is the crown with a jewel
in the middle. The jewel is included in the chart pack.
Smyra Cross, Basketweave, Continental , Diagonal Mosaic and Nobuko are
used in this design. Mandarin Floss, Sparkle
Braid , Splendor and Japan Gold are used in this design.

The Six Wives of Henry VIII
Here are all the ladies of Henry VIII. They rested their heads on Henry, thus the Bolster. #28 count Desert Sand (Wichelt) was used for this piece. I backed it with a lovely silk. Since the ladies were elegant they were all stitched in silk. Waterlilies, Elegance, Gumnuts-Star, Splendor, Subtlety, and Silk N Colors were all used along with the Kreinik Fine Braid and Petite Treasu Braid. The beads used were Mill Hill Petite Beads and Magnificia.

New Orleans Christmas Ball
This new Christmas Ball has color and is all set for a good time. It is taken from a Mardi Gras Mask. Thus, you have the Mardi Gras colors of Gold, Green and Purple. It is stitched on 24 white Congress cloth. Four colors of Splendor are used, 2 colors of Anchor Bates floss along with Coronet Braid #4, #8, and #16. Petite Frosty Rays makes the ruffle white 4 colors of Petite Treasure Braid are used for the background, unseen in photograph. Ribbon Floss makes the heart shaped mouth.

New Hampshire Quilt Patch
This quilt block is stitched in # 18 rose blush mono canvas. Threads used are Floss,
Overdyed floss, Elegance, Splendor, and Petite Very Velvet. Mill Hill Beads are also
used. Stitches are leaf, rounded wheat stitch, elongated cross, knotted stitch, T stitch and
couching. New Hampshire quilt block is not a true geometric thus it is more challenging
to stitch. This state is one of the original 13 colonies.

Savannah Quilt Patch
Stitched on # 18 victorian green mono canvas. Threads used are Splendor, Petite Very Velvet, Silk N. Colors, and floss. Stitches used are Nobucko, basketweave, couching,
diagonal leaf, diamond ray and kennan. This quilt patch is another patch that is not a true
geometric. Thus more challenging to stitch. This state is one of the original 13 colonies.

South Carolina Quilt Patch
Stitched on # 18 butter cream mono canvas. Threads used are Waterlillies, Kreinik Fine Braid, Flair and Splendor. Stitches used ar Amadeus, Web and the Oriental Stitch.
It is a true geometric pattern. Another pattern of the original 13 colonies.

Catherine of Aragon
Make a Gem for your favorite person's birthday. Each month is a different birthday gem.
Dynamic in feeling, easy to make and instructions for self finishing included in the chart
pack.
The first of Henry's wives, Catherine of Aragon. Blackwork given in both backstitch and running stitch. Queen Stitch (two methods). Beads -Magnifica.
Splendor and Silk N/Colors are used for this piece. A very impressive piece
to use as a stitchers roll, etc.

January - Garnet
This deep red stone is stitched with 3 colors of Splendor. You also use Kreinik Braid and Magnifica
beads.

February - Amethyst
Pale lavender splendor is used in a rounded wheat stitch. Kreinik
metallic is used along with 2 colors of magnifica beads to give a very dramatic effect.

March - Aquamarine


April - Diamond
Now what girl doesn't want a diamond. This one is stitched with Petite Frosty Rays and Treasure Braid # 8. Many facets for a sparkling effect.

May - Emerald
You don't have to go to Columbia for this lovely gem. Splendor is the base along with Kreinik metallic and Magificia glass beads.

June - Pearl
Pearl - Since pearls come in several colors we used white, cream, pink and gray Splendor to simulate the various colors of pearls. Magnificia glass beads sit inside the Splendor Jessica's.

July - Ruby
Ruby's are red and so is this lovely bail. Ruby calls for Rainbow Gallery's Splendor, Kreink's Tapestry Braid and Mill Hill Beads. Any of the birthday gems can be used for Christmas Ornaments. Like all of the previous Gems this is stitched on # 18 mono white canvas. Finishing instructions are included in the chart pack.

August - Peridot
Peridot is an unusual green stone. You will be using Rainbow Gallery's Splendor, Kreinik Tapestry Braid and Mll Hill Glass Beads. # 18 mono canvas in white is the base for the stitching. This could aiso be turned into a Christmas Ball. Finishing instructions are included in the chart pack.

September - Sapphire
This Sapphire is a lovely stone and comes in many colors, I chose the blue. Rainbow Gallery's Splendor is used along with Kreink's Tapestry Braid and Mill I Hill Magnifica Beads. The canvas used is # 18 mono white. This could be turned into a Christmas Ball. Finishing instructions are included in the chart pack.

October - Opal
Opal's many different kinds, I chose Fire Opals and the regular opal. Both of these are combined into one beautiful ball. Rainbow Gallery's Splendor, Petite Treasure Braid, and Kreinik's Very Fine braid are used in the dynamic piece. It used # 18 mono white canvas. I created my own cords and trim for this piece. Finishing instructions are included in the chart pack.

November - Topaz
This lovely fall stone reflects the colors of the fall. Ours is done in various shades of butterscotch, goid and tan. Rainbow Gallery's Splendor, Petite Treasure Braid, Kreink's Tapestry Braid and Mill Hill Magnifica's beads are all used in this spectacular piece. # 18 mono white canvas is used as the base. This stone used the Magnifica beads to set off the oval jessica's. Finishing instructions are included in the chart pack.

December - Turquoise

The final month of the year and a lovely one it is. Rainbow Gallery~s Splendor is used along with Kreinik's Tapestry Braid and Mill Hill Frosted beads. # 18 mono white canvas is used.
